Norlys Molde DC1899CB LED bollard light 24 V copper brown 80 cm

Name: Norlys Molde DC1899CB LED bollard light 24 V copper brown 80 cm
Brand: NORLYS

Molde DC1899CB is an 80 cm garden bollard made of cast aluminium powder-coated in copper brown (RAL 8004) – a paint finish, not bare copper. The slim rectangular body curves down at the top in an arch, and under that hood sits a clear structured polycarbonate diffuser, UV-stabilised. The light runs on 24 V DC and cannot be wired straight to the 230 V mains.Size and fixingThe body is 80 cm high and 11 cm wide, and with the curved head it takes up 16.5 cm in depth – a figure to check against the width of a path edge or flower bed. The bollard weighs 2 kg and is bolted down through four ø7 mm holes on an 18 × 50 mm pattern. The concrete anchor (1907), ground anchor (1908), concrete-foundation adapter (1909) and mounting adapters are sold separately, so the fixing method is chosen together with the light. The terminals take conductors up to 4 × 4 mm², and the supply can loop on with cable up to 2 × 4 mm². A row of bollards along one path can therefore run from a single supply line.24 V supply and lightIt needs an external voltage-stabilised 24 V DC power supply, which is not included; the maker specifies that choosing the supply and installing the lighting is a job for a suitably qualified person. Safety extra-low voltage puts it in protection class III. The LED module is suitable for dimming, which is done at the supply according to the installation design. Two integrated LED modules draw 7.2 W in total and produce 1024 lm, of which the fitting emits 435 lm at 2700 K – a warm, slightly yellowish light. That is orientation lighting: it marks the edge of a path and steps rather than lighting a whole garden. The hood shades the source from above, so 2.89% of the flux goes upwards. The modules are replaced by a professional service; the maker quotes an L80 lifetime above 102,000 hours.Where to place itIP54 lets the bollard stand outdoors without cover, and IK07 means the housing withstands a 2 J impact. It is intended for a garden, beside a terrace and along the drive in front of a house. The plain form without ornament, which the maker describes as contemporary design, gives it a modern character.Meer tonen
