The Zambelis E191 is a cast concrete bollard 30 cm tall, built in the shape of a letter C: the top slab overhangs a recess that holds the LED module, and the bottom slab forms a shelf the light washes across. The concrete is left in its natural grey with the cast texture visible, and the body stands on a black rectangular mounting plate. How much room it takes and how it is fixed down The body measures 15 × 16 cm and rises 30 cm above the ground — calf height, the level at which a bollard marks the edge of a path, a terrace or a bed. Compare those 30 cm with what you expect it to light: this fitting traces a route rather than brightening a whole plot. The base plate is 21 × 23 cm with four screw holes, so the E191 is bolted onto an existing hard surface — paving, a concrete slab or a plinth. The data sheet states no required installation depth and no cutting hole, so nothing has to be chased out or buried. A supply cable is not included, and the fitting is safety class I, which means it needs an earthed circuit — the connection is the installer's work. That is roughly half of what an old 60 W bulb gave, so a single bollard lights the ground immediately around it; a longer walkway is planned as several units spaced along it. The diodes are integrated into the fitting — they are not replaced the way a bulb is; the stated lifetime is L70B50 30,000 h, about 27 years at three hours a day. The fitting cannot be dimmed, and its energy label reads class G with 8 kWh per 1000 hours of use. Outdoors all year round IP54 is protection against dust and against splashing water from any direction, so the bollard can stand uncovered and takes rain and garden watering; it is not intended for flooding or immersion. IK04 means resistance to an impact of 0.5 J — the energy of an accidental knock, less than a mower strike.
