SOLVIRA LE45494 is a white 40 cm ceiling luminaire in aluminium and acrylic: 28 W, 2010 lumens, **switchable colour temperature 2700 / 3000 / 4000 K** and TRIAC dimming. Three colour temperatures in one fitting This is what separates SOLVIRA from an ordinary ceiling light: the light colour is not fixed at the factory but **switchable between 2700 K, 3000 K and 4000 K**. The difference is real rather than cosmetic — 2700 K is a warm yellowish white for an evening living room or bedroom, 3000 K a more neutral white for a hallway or dining room, and 4000 K a cool working light for a kitchen, bathroom or study. Instead of deciding the temperature at purchase, it is set after installation and can be changed when the room's function changes. 2010 lumens from 40 centimetres At 40 cm across and **2010 lm**, this fitting lights a room of roughly 10–14 m² on its own — an ordinary room, a bedroom or a large bathroom. The acrylic diffuser spreads the light across the whole disc, so the luminaire glows evenly with no visible diode dots. A height of just **12.5 cm** means it does not lower the room — the answer for flats of standard ceiling height where a pendant is out of the question. Dimming needs a TRIAC controller The maker states it plainly: brightness control is possible **through a TRIAC controller**, that is a phase-cut dimmer fitted in the wall box in place of an ordinary switch. It is the commonest kind of control in domestic wiring and needs neither a bus nor a remote, but it has to be planned for: wired to a plain switch, the fitting runs at full output only. The dimmer is bought separately. Build and versions The body is aluminium, the diffuser acrylic, the whole in white — a matt disc that all but disappears against a white ceiling when off. At 3.1 kg it needs anchoring into the slab, not into plasterboard alone. IP20 assigns it to dry rooms; in a bathroom it may be used outside the protection zones.
