The Points TR031-2-12W4K-B is a luminaire for the Maytoni EXILITY 23 mm magnetic track: a black aluminium bar 22 cm long with a row of twelve recessed lenses set into its face. The body is 2.2 cm wide and 4.4 cm high, so once clipped in it does not stand proud of the track. Which track it fits The luminaire is intended only for the 23 mm EXILITY magnetic system and runs at 48 V in protection class III, that is on safety extra-low voltage. The voltage comes from the system's driver, not from the fitting itself — on a 230 V single-phase track it fits neither mechanically nor electrically. It is placed magnetically at any point along the track, so the spacing between fittings is decided after the track is mounted and can be changed later without tools. How much light it gives, and what kind The fitting draws 12 W and puts out 900 lm in a beam of 36 degrees. This is not general room lighting but a flow concentrated on one surface — a worktop, a picture, a shelf. A 36-degree beam widens by roughly 65 cm for every metre of distance, so from a track 1.5 m above the worktop the pool of light is about a metre across. The 4000 K colour is neutral white: without the yellow cast of warm white and without the bluish edge of cool light. A colour rendering index of Ra 90 means colours under this beam look close to how they look in daylight, which matters wherever goods, materials or a work surface are being lit. Build and running The twelve diodes sit in a recess behind the lenses, below the plane of the face. Looking along the track you therefore see the lit object rather than the sources themselves. The body is aluminium and the whole fitting weighs 0.16 kg. The light source is built in permanently — it cannot be replaced, and the manufacturer rates it for 50,000 hours. This version is not dimmable; the Points series has separate variants controlled over DALI and over the Smart system, so if brightness control is needed, one of those is the fitting to choose instead.Meer tonen
