Linseed oil gives the wood a light natural finish while allowing the grain and individual knots to remain visible, so the surface retains the character of real timber rather than a uniform printed effect. Frame and headboard The rectangular bed frame stands on four substantial 21 cm legs. Separate horizontal beech panels form the headboard, set on dark vertical supports. This clear construction keeps the headboard visually distinct from the frame and gives the bed an uncluttered outline. There is no under-bed storage compartment.
