STOCKHOLM 1606GA is a 49 cm bollard light: a steel tube topped with a milky PMMA head that horizontal rings of the same steel wrap around. The finish is the hot-dip galvanising itself — the fitting is not powder coated and keeps the natural silver-grey tone of zinc. How much light it gives and how it spreads it The luminaire delivers 362 lm to its surroundings while drawing 8.5 W. That is enough to mark a path, a drive entrance or the edge of a bed; lighting a whole driveway takes several bollards along the route. 4000 K is neutral white: cooler than a household bulb, but it draws the shape and colour of the paving clearly. Colour rendering is Ra 80, and the BUG score B0-U3-G1 means low glare with a noticeable share of light sent upwards — the rings around the diffuser let light out above the head as well. Mounting and wiring The fitting is fixed through three ø9 mm holes set 120° apart on a ø65 mm circle. The concrete-in anchor, the concrete foundation adapter and the mounting adapter carry their own article numbers and have to be bought separately — the 21 × 21.5 × 57 cm carton holds the bollard alone. The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 4 mm² and the luminaire can be looped through with up to 2 × 2.5 mm², so the supply runs from one bollard to the next without a junction box at each. A round-sheathed cable may be up to 12.5 mm across; the supply is mains 230 V. Build and weather resistance The body is hot-dip galvanised steel, the diffuser is milky PMMA, and a silicone gasket closes the joint. IP65 means sealed against dust and against water jets — the level intended for standing in the open with no cover overhead. The manufacturer states an operating range of -20 to +45 °C. Light source and dimming Inside there is an LED module with an electronic driver. It is not changed like a bulb — only a professional service replaces the module and the control gear, but the manufacturer stocks a service kit under article ZS1606zx0009, so a failed diode board does not end the fitting. Rated life is over 50,000 h to a 30% drop in output. The luminaire dims on phase-control TRIAC dimmers working on both the trailing edge (TE) and the leading edge (LE), so it runs on older RL dimmers as well as newer RC ones.
