2x Shock Absorber Struts PORSCHE 944 '87-'89 with Bilstein Cartridge FRONT in Exchange Struts converted to Bilstein B6 shock absorbers Description: The switch to pressed-in shock absorbers in the 944 from '87 onwards presents some problems when it comes to replacement. Replacing the entire strut assembly is expensive. Furthermore, availability on the market is very limited. Therefore, we offer you an ideal solution that is also future-proof. Here you will receive a set of front struts with shock absorbers, which have been converted to bolted-in dampers. These have been revised as follows: - Opening and removal of the defective damper - Precise shortening of the strut - Insertion and welding of the threaded sleeve - Zinc plating and powder coating Consequently, the Bilstein B6 shock absorbers can be installed and bolted in place using a union nut. The appropriate cartridge wrench is also included in the set. The dampers are characterized by improved tuning and high-quality workmanship. The bolted connection also allows for straightforward subsequent replacements or a switch to sport-tuned dampers, as in the 968. Please note the different strut variants that were used during the course of the 944 series. This refers to the Fichtel & Sachs version with a large spring plate without a mounting point for an air deflector, which was used in the 944/944S from '87-'89 with the introduction of the wide axle.
