3M Scotch-Weld DP 490 is a tough, elastic and thixotropic 2-component construction adhesive based on epoxy resin with a 2:1 mixing ratio. DP 490 was developed for use in applications that are exposed to extreme loads and require high strength. High temperature resistance up to 120°C allows the bond to withstand greater stress. Good impact resistance and exceptional stability under static and dynamic loads. DP 490 has very good aging properties. Easy to apply to vertical surfaces thanks to its thixotropic composition. DP 490 shows special properties in the production of various composite assemblies. The product has very high temperature and excellent weather resistance.
