Pursuit XRs Diphenyl HPLC column with inner diameter 4.6 mm, length 150 mm and particle size 5.0 µm. Pursuit XR's diphenyl columns offer exceptional selectivity for compounds with double bonds or aromatic functional groups due to a special Pi-Pi retention mechanism. Unlike other C18 and phenylhexyl phases whose retention mechanism relies on a hydrophobic component, the diphenyl phase separates analytes based on differences in their pi electron structure. The Agilent Pursuit HPLC column family offers reliable performance in several common particle sizes and phase chemistries, including USP L1, USP L7 and USP L11.
