Bulgin Circular Connector The Bulgin Buccaneer series 2-poles male circular flex cable water resistant connector has a plug-type connection. This connector has a voltage rating of 250VAC/DC and current rating is up to 12A per contact. This cable mounting connector is ideal for use in challenging conditions. The connector shell is made from glass-filled polyamide with gold-plated copper alloy contacts. The connectors also feature a positive locking mating system that means the connector cannot be mismatched. The standard series of buccaneer connectors are protected to IP68 when mated. This means they are dust-tight and resistant to particle ingress such as dust and sand. They are also waterproof, meaning they are protected from liquid ingress up to the point of submersion for a limited time. The standard buccaneer series of power connectors feature glass filled polyamide moulded housing that is resistant to dust, oil and saltwater. What are the mating requirements of this connector? The buccaneer standard series cable connectors mate with corresponding in-line connectors for a cable-to-cable connection, or with a panel, chassis and PCB connectors. Are contacts supplied with this connector? Flange connectors with 2 to 9 poles are supplied with contacts. The 12 to 25 pole connectors are supplied without contacts.
