Endon Carnaby 111605 blue floor lamp base, 138 cm, without shade

Name: Endon Carnaby 111605 blue floor lamp base, 138 cm, without shade
Brand: Endon

Endon Carnaby 111605 is a floor lamp base supplied without a shade. Its hand-turned wooden stem has repeated ring-shaped details above a round foot, all painted in satin Marlin Blue. A brass B22 lampholder with a switch tops the stem; the construction also includes steel.Choose the shade and bulb separatelyThis article number refers to the base only, rather than a complete base-and-shade combination. Endon recommends decorative fabric shades measuring 35 or 40 cm in diameter. Allow for the chosen shade when planning the finished lamp's position, since the foot alone does not define its overall width. The fitting takes one B22 LED bulb rated at no more than 10 W. A bulb is not included. The wattage is a power limit, not a measure of brightness: light output and colour temperature depend on the bulb you select. The shade also affects how that light is distributed. The base is specified as non-dimmable.Height, footprint and connectionThe base measures 138 cm high without a shade and has a 30 cm diameter foot. Its grey braided cable is 2 m long. Compare that length with the distance to the socket and the planned cable route before deciding where it will stand. The switch is on the lampholder rather than on the floor. Manufacturer documentation specifies a UK three-pin plug, so check compatibility with the socket at the intended location before purchase.Turned detailing for an indoor settingThe shaped spindle recalls classic and retro furniture details rather than a plain straight column. Combined with a separately selected shade, it can form a floor lamp for a living room, bedroom or study. Endon notes that hand turning can produce small variations in the finish between individual pieces.Assemble the lamp fully before connecting it and use it on a stable, flat surface. It is for indoor use only, is not suitable for a bathroom and requires an earth connection. Clean with a dry cloth, without liquid or abrasive cleaners. Unplug the lamp and allow the bulb to cool completely before replacing it.Pokaż więcej
