KOSTER Double Head 1197 is a pole-top luminaire in graphite RAL 7016: two dome-shaped shades on a horizontal arm that slips over the top of a lighting column. The body is powder-coated cast aluminium and the shades are made of transparent structured polycarbonate, UV-stabilised. What pole it fits and what you still need The luminaire is a slip-on fitting — it goes 80 mm deep onto a Ø60 mm mounting spigot. The pole is not included, so it has to be chosen separately and its top checked for exactly that spigot. A H05VV-F 5G1 cable 3.7 m long comes out of the luminaire from the factory; it is connected inside the pole, in a suitably chosen junction box. The fitting spans 82.5 cm, a single shade is 24.5 cm across and the height is 22.5 cm — that 82.5 cm is the figure to compare with the width of the path, or with the distance from the pole to the edge the light has to reach. The luminaire itself weighs 6.38 kg. How much light it gives and of what kind Four LED modules work inside the two shades. The luminaire draws 37 W and puts out 3825 lm, roughly five times the old 60 W bulb — enough to light an area rather than merely mark it. 4000 K is neutral light with no yellow cast, which keeps shapes and markings legible. A Ledil VSM lens spreads it to IESNA type V, that is symmetrically all around the pole, and ULOR 0% means nothing is sent upwards. The light source is not user-replaceable — the LED modules and the control gear are changed by a professional service. The manufacturer states a driver life of 100 000 h and L90B10 above 100 000 h. Control, durability and build The luminaire runs on DALI2 and supports NightDim, so it can be wired into an installation that dims the lighting during the night hours; the DALI controller belongs to the installation, not to the fitting. IP65 means full protection against dust and resistance to water jets, and IK10 means it withstands a 20 J impact, which counts wherever the fitting stands in public space. This is a class I luminaire, so the wiring in the pole needs a protective earth conductor. The manufacturer gives a 25-year warranty on the anti-corrosion finish. The Scandinavian plainness of the form — a smooth dome without ornament and a uniform matt finish — suits parks, hotel and restaurant grounds and gardens, which is where the manufacturer intends it.Pokaż więcej
