Name: Norlys Grimstad 5025GR LED recessed wall light, graphite RAL 7016, louvred, 7.4 W, 4000 K, IP65
Brand: NORLYS

Grimstad 5025GR is an outdoor recessed wall light with a cast aluminium body powder-coated in graphite RAL 7016. Horizontal louvres close the front, with an opal safety-glass diffuser behind them. The manufacturer intends it for lighting stairs, steps, stairwells and footpaths. Dimensions and installation The visible frame measures 27 × 12.5 cm and the body goes 11 cm into the wall. Masonry needs an opening of 258 × 112 × 115 mm, an insulated layered wall 235 × 96 × 82 mm — dimensions to check before building or insulating, because the opening has to be planned in advance. The fitting weighs 1.63 kg. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², with loop-through up to 3 × 1.5 mm², on a cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter, so further fittings along a staircase run on one line. The datasheet also gives the number of fittings per circuit breaker: B 10A – 160, B 16A – 254, C 10A – 264, C 16A – 431. It is protection class I, so the earth conductor must be connected. What light it gives The LED module produces 1061 lm, but the louvres and opal glass direct the light downwards and diffuse it, so 72 lm leave the fitting. This is orientation light: it lights the step or the ground below the fitting without dazzling people walking past, but it will not light a whole yard. 4000 K is neutral white, CRI is 80, and nothing goes upwards (ULOR 0%). The fitting draws 7.4 W. Dimming and service It can be dimmed with a trailing-edge (RC) phase dimmer; the datasheet does not list leading-edge dimmers. The Philips Fortimo LED module and the driver are replaced by a professional service, and Norlys stocks the diffuser, gasket, LED module and driver as spare parts. IP65 and IK09 impact resistance allow mounting low beside footpaths, where it is easily kicked.Pokaż więcej
