The LED PRO series A connector is a clip-on joint for 10 mm RGBW LED strip. It carries five contacts — one for the shared positive and one each for the R, G, B and W channels — and links the end of a strip to the supply conductors. The body is clear polycarbonate, the contacts are copper, and the whole part measures 22 × 15 × 7 mm. How it joins the strip The strip slides under the flap and clicks shut. The pins pierce the PCB laminate and reach the tracks by themselves, so the joint is made without a soldering iron and without exposing the tracks first. For lifting the catch the manufacturer lists a separate opener under index 24-0000-73. The connector is one-sided and ships without a cable: the strip goes in one side, your own supply cores in the other. A version with a factory-fitted lead, and one that joins two lengths of strip to each other, exist in the same series under different indexes. Which strip and how much current Five contacts fit 10 mm RGBW strip only. Single-colour, COB, CCT and RGB+CCT strips have a different number of tracks and a different width, so they need a connector with a different pin count — series A runs to 2-, 3-, 4- and 6-pin versions. The connector works at 5, 12 and 24 V DC and the permitted current is 2 A. At 24 V that is roughly 48 W through one joint, at 12 V about 24 W; on a longer run it is worth working out the load before feeding the whole line through a single connector. The manufacturer allows use with IP20 and IP65 strip. On IP65 strip the joint itself has to be sealed after fitting — without that, the rating no longer holds at the connector.Pokaż więcej
