Norlys Astrid 2209CS LED Garden Bollard, Corten Steel Colour, 85 cm, 10.6 W 4000 K, DALI-2, IP65

Name: Norlys Astrid 2209CS LED Garden Bollard, Corten Steel Colour, 85 cm, 10.6 W 4000 K, DALI-2, IP65
Brand: NORLYS

The Astrid 2209CS is an 85 cm garden bollard made from an extruded aluminium profile with a rounded-square 14 × 14 cm cross-section, powder-coated in a corten-steel colour (close to RAL 8011). That is the colour of the coating, not the material — the body is aluminium. The profile is fluted vertically along its whole height, and in the upper section an opal PMMA diffuser glows behind the ribs. How much light, and what kindThe LED module and driver are built in, so there is no bulb to buy. The module is rated at 1539 lm, but 271 lm leaves the fitting at 10.6 W — that second figure is the one that tells you how much light reaches the path. That level marks out walkways and bed edges rather than lighting a whole yard. 4000 K is a neutral white without a yellow cast, and the light is diffused: half the flux goes up and half goes down. The driver supports DALI-2 control, so the fitting can join a DALI installation and be dimmed from it. The LED module and driver are replaced by a professional service, and the manufacturer offers a service kit for this. Norlys rates the module at over 70,000 h (L80B50) and the driver at 100,000 h.Installation and wiringThe bollard weighs 6.24 kg and fixes through three ø9 mm holes spaced at 120° on a ø65 mm circle. Ground fixings are bought separately: for this model Norlys offers a concrete-in anchor, a ground anchor, a concrete-foundation adapter and a mounting adapter. The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 2.5 mm² and allow looping through to the next bollard, so a row of fittings along a path can run from one cable of up to 12.5 mm diameter. With an inrush current of 6.7 A / 2.4 µs, the manufacturer states that a B 10 A breaker takes 46 of these fittings, B 16 A 74, C 10 A 74 and C 16 A 119. The fitting is protection class I and needs an earth conductor; it should be installed by a qualified electrician.Where it fitsIP65 means a dust-tight housing protected against water jets, so the bollard stands in the garden without any cover, and IK10 is the top rating for the housing's resistance to mechanical impact. The manufacturer intends it for terraces, driveways and paths.Pokaż więcej
