ATECA is a flat ring LED ceiling light, 45 cm across and just 10 cm deep, in matt white. The built-in 49 W LED module delivers 2385 lm. How much light this is — and for which room 2385 lm from a single fitting is what it takes to light a room of roughly 12–16 m² to domestic comfort: an average living room, a bedroom, a study. At 49 W the efficacy works out at about 49 lm/W — this is not a design optimised for efficiency but for appearance and distribution: the wide matt ring emits across its whole surface, so it produces no hard shadows and none of the visible LED dots a panel with a poor diffuser gives. The flat 10 cm body means the fitting does not drop away from the ceiling — which matters in a 2.5 m flat, where every hanging lamp takes headroom. Colour temperature: the manufacturer gives a range, not one value The module is specified as 49 W, 2385 lm, 2700–4000 K, and the fitting is TRIAC dimmable — that is, from an ordinary phase-cut dimmer fitted in place of a wall switch. The colour temperature is therefore not fixed: it lies between warm white 2700 K and neutral white 4000 K. The manufacturer does not state whether it shifts with the dimming level (a dim-to-warm arrangement) or is switched separately — if a specific colour temperature matters to the scheme, confirm it before ordering. The dimming itself is worth noting: at 2385 lm this fitting is bright, and being able to take the level down makes it usable in the evening as mood lighting rather than only as task lighting. The TRIAC dimmer is bought separately. Construction The body combines metal, aluminium and silicone. The aluminium carries heat away from the LED module — at 49 W in a closed, shallow housing that is the condition for the diode reaching its declared life. The silicone is most likely the diffusing and sealing element at the light-emitting edge, responsible for the smooth, even band of light around the perimeter. The matt white finish is deliberately neutral: against a white ceiling the fitting all but disappears when off, and reads as a glowing ring rather than an object on the ceiling when lit. Installation The light source is permanently built in and included — there is no bulb socket, and when the diode is spent the whole fitting is replaced. Supply 230 V, surface mounted to the ceiling. The IP20 rating restricts it to dry rooms — it does not belong above a shower enclosure or a bath. Weight is 4.7 kg, which at 45 cm across calls for a fixing suited to the substrate, and in a plasterboard ceiling an anchor reaching the framing.
