Astrid 2202AL is a low garden bollard: 55 cm tall, with a rounded-square 14 × 14 cm cross-section and vertical ribs running the full length of the body. The profile is extruded aluminium, powder-coated light grey RAL 9006, and the light comes out through an opal PMMA diffuser in the upper part. Its plain, ribbed form without ornament suits a Scandinavian or modern style.Where it goes and how it is fixedAt 55 cm, the bollard lights the zone near the ground: the edge of a path, terrace steps, the entrance to a driveway. IP65 means the fitting is dust-tight and protected against water jets, so it stands outdoors with no cover at all. IK10 is the top impact rating on that scale (20 J), useful beside a driveway.The base is bolted down through three ø9 mm holes set 120° apart on a ø65 mm circle. The footing is chosen to suit the ground from accessories sold separately: concrete-in anchor 205, ground anchor 206, concrete-foundation adapter 206S or mounting adapter 3080GA. The terminals take cable up to 5 × 2.5 mm² and allow the supply to be looped on to the next bollard; round cable may be at most ø12.5 mm. According to the manufacturer, one B16A breaker carries up to 74 of these fittings and a B10A up to 46.How much light, and what kindThe Osram LED module produces 1620 lm at 8.2 W, while the complete fitting emits 216 lm at a power draw of 10.6 W. The second figure is what you actually see in the garden: soft, diffuse orientation light that marks the line and edges of a path but will not light a whole lawn. 4000 K is neutral white, noticeably cooler than a traditional bulb.The driver runs on DALI2: brightness and switching are controlled from the DALI bus, which needs a DALI controller or gateway in the installation — an ordinary phase-cut dimmer will not work with this fitting.Lifetime and serviceThe manufacturer rates the LED module at over 70,000 h (L80B50) and the driver at 100,000 h. The module and control gear are replaced by a professional service, and Norlys stocks a service kit for this fitting, so a failed light source does not mean replacing the whole bollard.
