Caution: not suitable for early 944 models. Only from model year 07/'85 onwards. Repair: After removing the blind, the white sleeve on which the spring sits must be freed up. For this, the hole must be slightly enlarged. The plastic becomes deformed over the years and jams the return mechanism. If the spring has slipped off the sleeve, it can be reattached using a standard clamp. Finally, the end caps and rivets can be painted to match the interior color.
