Their polar phase consists of polyethylene glycol with a polar-deactivated surface that tightly binds polymer for excellent thermal stability. The columns are resistive to oxidative damage and damage from strongly acidic or basic volatiles better than silicone solid phases. Recommended Uses and Applications TraceGOLD TG-WaxMS columns are ideal for analysis of aldehydes, essential oils, solvents and xylenes. Alternative uses include acids, alcohols, alditol acetates (sugars), aliphatic and aromatic amines, herbicides, ketones, nitroaromatics, phenols and volatiles.
