Outdoor wall light NORLYS Nora 2496BL LED 8W 4000K black IP65

Name: Outdoor wall light NORLYS Nora 2496BL LED 8W 4000K black IP65
Brand: NORLYS

The Nora 2496BL is a Norlys outdoor wall light shaped as a flat, square box of cast aluminium powder-coated in black. The front measures 13 × 13 cm and the fitting stands just 5 cm off the wall. Light leaves only through the bottom edge, via clear safety glass seated on a silicone gasket. How much light it gives and where it goesThe fitting draws 8 W and delivers 585 lm, or 73.1 lm per watt – less than an old 60 W bulb, so this is light for picking out a wall and an entrance rather than lighting a whole yard. The entire output goes downward: the manufacturer states an upward light ratio (ULOR) of 0%, so no light reaches windows above the fitting or the sky; it lays a band of light on the wall below. 4000 K is neutral white with no yellow tint.Light source and DALI-2 controlThe LED module and driver are built in, so there is no bulb to buy. The driver works on DALI-2, a digital control bus – dimming and lighting scenes need a DALI controller in the installation. The module and driver are replaced by a qualified electrician, and the manufacturer stocks a dedicated service kit for this fitting. The driver is rated for 100,000 h, and the module keeps 90% of its output for more than 52,600 h.Mounting and wiringThe light screws to the wall through two ø5 mm holes spaced 63 × 112 mm apart and weighs 0.85 kg. The terminals take conductors up to 5 × 2.5 mm² and allow the supply to be looped on to the next fitting with up to 5 × 1.5 mm² – a row of wall lights along a façade can run off a single supply line. The supply cable needs a round sheath of 7–10.5 mm diameter. For longer runs the manufacturer allows up to 46 fittings per B 10 A breaker, 74 on B 16 A or C 10 A, and 119 on C 16 A.The fitting is protection class I, so it must be connected to an earth conductor. IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets, and IK09 is the housing's impact resistance.Where it fitsNorlys designed the Nora for lighting walls and building façades. The plain square body without ornament and the uniform matt black suit Scandinavian and minimalist architecture.Pokaż więcej
