Aldex Soho Glass Cobalt 1105C25_M is a wall light with a short articulated arm and a spherical glass shade. Cobalt-blue metal contrasts with the pale glass, while the visible joints let you change the shade position rather than leave it fixed. This version has one E14 socket, not the two light points found on other fittings in the collection.Positioning the arm beside a bed or chairThe manufacturer recommends the shorter version above a bed headboard and for supplementary lighting near a sofa, armchair or workspace. Moving the arm helps place the light closer to a particular seated position. The glass globe is not an open spotlight, however: it covers the bulb and allows light through the glass. An adjustable arm should therefore not be mistaken for a narrow, concentrated beam. The shade diameter is 14 cm. The product sheet specifies a width of 14 cm, height of 29 cm and depth of 50 cm. Projection from the wall is particularly important when choosing the mounting point. Compare it with the position of a pillow, chair back or desk edge, and leave room to reposition the arm as well as accommodate the fitting at rest.Choosing an E14 bulb and planning the cableThe fitting takes one narrow E14 bulb. The manufacturer's official shop specifies a maximum wattage of 40 W and a bulb height no greater than 10.2 cm. A matching cap alone is not enough: an overly tall bulb may not fit inside the shade. Brightness and colour temperature depend on the replaceable bulb you select, rather than being fixed characteristics of the wall light.A long power cable with a switch allows the supply to be planned without a wall cable outlet immediately behind the light. Check the cable route and access to the switch before mounting. Adjustable joints position the shade; they do not replace secure wall fixing.A cobalt accent with visible geometryStraight metal sections, a diagonal brace and the glass sphere form a modern, modernist composition. The blue finish remains a distinct colour accent when the light is off. Choose this version for a single wall-mounted light with a movable arm, rather than a fixed sconce or a multi-light fitting.Pokaż więcej
