Reduced total filtration time due to the additional surface area exposed; the normal slowing of filtration rate due to particle loading is postponed. Increased total loading capacity as more filter area is available. Maintained flow rate due to the reduction in filter paper contact with the funnel side and the self-supporting shape of the filter itself. Pre-closing has no significant impact on the specifications and the same numbers can be used for the flat circles. Strong filter with very high flow rate. Well suited for coarse particles and gelatinous precipitates. Also available in flat storage form as Grade 114.
