These filters are acid cured to give high wet strength and chemical resistance with extremely low ash content. The hard surface makes these filters suitable for a wide range of critical filtration processes. These are the highest quantitative filter papers with high wet strength and chemical resistance. These papers are acid cured which reduces ash to extremely low levels. The hard surfaces of these fillers make them suitable for a wide range of critical analytical filtration operations. Each grade offers a practical combination of filtration speed and particle retention. Fast filtration of coarse particles and gelatinous precipitates in acid/alkali in gravimetric analysis. Typical applications include the determination of fiber in animal feed, gelatin in milk and cream, chloride in cement, and chloride and phosphorus in coal and coke.
