NUCLEO-L476RG Nucleo-64 Development Board
From StMicroelectronics, the NUCLEO-L476RG development board features an ultra-low power Arm Cortex M4 STM32L476RGT6 microcontroller in an LQFP64 package. This development board enables you to easily build and evaluate prototypes. The microcontroller features a set of power saving modes that will help you to prototype designs with power consumption limitations.
Arduino Uno v3 and ST morpho headers allow you to easily connect with a range of specialised shields and vastly expand the functionality of your development board.
A Floating Point Unit (FPU) supports all ARM single precision data-processing instructions and data types. This STM32 development board also has an MPU (Memory Protection Unit) which significantly enhances the security of your applications.
The NUCLEO-L476RG has an integrated ST-LINK/V2-1 debugger and programmer which is provided with preinstalled HAL Library software and other packaged software. Tools such as ARM mbed on-line resources mean that you can start developing prototypes immediately. This board is also supported by other IDEs (Integrated Development Environments) such as GCC-based IDEs, IAR and Keil.
What's on board?
STM32L476RGT6 80MHz Cortex-M4F core microcontroller with 1 MB Flash memory, 128 KB SRAM
Adaptive real-time accelerator (ART Accelerator) allowing 0-wait state execution from Flash memory
LCD driver for 8 40 or 4 44 segments with step-up converter
Up to 24 capacitive sensing channels: supporting touchkey, linear and rotary touch sensors
Up to 18 serial communication interfaces: USART, IrDA, IC, SPI, QSPI, SAI, CAN, USB, SDIO, SWPMI
True random number generator
CRC calculation unit
Real-Time clock and calendar
96-bit unique ID
Arduino Uno v3 connectivity support
ST morpho extension pin headers for access to STM32 I/Os
ST-LINK/V2-1 debugger/programmer with SWD connector
Flexible board power supply
USB OTG or FS Device with micro-AB connector
4 x filters for sigma delta modulator
3 x LEDs: power LED, USB communication, user LED
2 x pushbuttons (user and reset)
32.768 KHz crystal oscillator
ARM mbed Enabled (mbed.org)
Supports BAM (Batch Acquisition Mode)
Power supply from 1.71 V to 3.6 V
Brown out reset (BOR)
STM32L4 Series 32-Bit ARMCortex-M4 Microcontrollers, STMicroelectronics
The STM32L4 series of ultra-low-power microcontrollers deliver 100DMIPS based on its ARMCortex-M4 core with Floating Point Unit (FPU) and ST ART Accelerator at 80MHz.
STM32L4 microcontrollers offer dynamic voltage scaling to balance power consumption with processing demand, low-power peripherals available in Stop mode, safety and security features.
Up to 1MB Flash Memory
LCD 8x40 or 4x44 with step-up converter
USB OTG 2.0 full-speed
