A glass drop on a thin black cable The ALCUDIA LE45753 is a single pendant of very spare form: a round black canopy, a thin black cable, and at its end a small shade of clear textured glass held in a black aluminium collar. The shade's shape suggests a bud or a droplet — the glass is not smooth but rippled, so the light refracts across its surface and builds a fine pattern of highlights. 5 W and 315 lumens — this is decorative lighting The built-in LED module draws 5 W and delivers 315 lm at a warm 3000 K. That figure needs reading correctly: 315 lm is roughly what an old 30 W incandescent gave, so a single ALCUDIA will not light a room. The fitting is conceived as a decorative, accenting element — above a worktop, beside a mirror, either side of a bed — or, most commonly in this series, as one of several pendants grouped over a kitchen island or a table. A drop of up to 200 cm The cable allows a drop of up to 200 cm from the ceiling and can be shortened during installation to any lesser length. That reserve matters in tall rooms and when hanging over an island, where the shade should sit roughly 70–80 cm above the surface. At 12 cm wide the fitting is delicate enough that several can hang close together without looking crowded. Aluminium and glass The build is black aluminium — canopy and shade collar — with a glass shade. That pairing is typical of decorative fittings in the upper bracket: the metal gives rigidity and a matt, unpolished finish, the glass decides the character of the light. The whole weighs 1.45 kg. Integrated LED — no lamp to change The LED module is permanently built in; the fitting has neither a socket nor a replaceable source. That allowed a very small collar and a clean shade silhouette, but it also means the whole fitting is replaced once the diodes are spent. IP20 protection restricts it strictly to dry interiors.
