Outdoor Recessed Wall Light NORLYS Grimstad 1546AL light grey E14 framed

Name: Outdoor Recessed Wall Light NORLYS Grimstad 1546AL light grey E14 framed
Brand: NORLYS

Grimstad 1546AL is a NORLYS outdoor light for building into a wall, with a rectangular front of 27.1 × 12.6 cm and a body that reaches 11 cm into the masonry. The housing is cast aluminium, powder-coated in light grey RAL 9006. The front is a plain frame with two screws holding a cover of opal safety glass – no louvres, so the whole pane glows. Which lamp, and what light Inside is an E14 lampholder for a lamp in the QB35 format: a conventional one up to 46 W or an LED up to 6 W. The lamp is not included and the user replaces it without a service call. Colour and brightness therefore come from the lamp you choose – beside steps and a front door, warm white at 2700–3000 K is the usual pick. The opal glass spreads the light over the whole cover, so no bright lamp spot shows. The BUG rating B0-U1-G0 means very little light thrown behind the fitting or into the sky and the lowest glare class – the light stays on the wall and on the surface in front of it. Building it into the wall Solid masonry needs an opening of 258 × 112 × 115 mm, a layered wall 235 × 96 × 82 mm. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², and the next fitting can be looped through with up to 3 × 1.5 mm², so a row of lights along a staircase runs from one supply line. The EPDM cable gland seals round cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter. The luminaire weighs 1.44 kg, is protection class I and needs an earth conductor. A broken pane does not mean replacing the whole fitting: NORLYS lists the cover as service kit 06152000 and the gasket as part 08154000. Where it fits IP65 means dust-tight and protected against water jets, and IK08 an impact resistance that matters close to the ground, where the front is easily caught by a foot. It operates at temperatures from −20 to +45 °C. NORLYS intends it for stairs, steps, stairwells and walkways; it suits a garden wall, the facade beside an entrance, and hotels and restaurants. The plain rectangular shape without ornament and the light grey finish go with modern and modernist architecture.Mostrar mais
