Namsos Mini 1340CS recessed wall light, corten steel colour, LED 4 W 3000 K, Norlys

Name: Namsos Mini 1340CS recessed wall light, corten steel colour, LED 4 W 3000 K, Norlys
Brand: NORLYS

The Namsos Mini 1340CS is a wall-recessed light with a square cast-aluminium front, powder-coated in a corten steel colour (close to RAL 8011). In the lower part of the front sits a window of satin safety glass behind horizontal louvres that direct the light down onto the ground below the fitting. Dimensions and mounting According to the manufacturer's drawing the front is 11 × 11 cm and the fitting goes 10 cm deep into the wall; it weighs 0.55 kg. A masonry wall needs a 105 × 105 × 110 mm opening, a layered wall 82 × 82 × 82 mm. A template is included to help mark out and cut the opening. The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 2.5 mm², and the supply can be looped on to the next fitting with up to 3 × 1.5 mm²; the round-sheathed cable should be 7–10.5 mm in diameter. Several lights along one flight of steps or one path can therefore share a single circuit. The fitting is protection class I and must be connected to protective earth. What light it gives The integrated LED module runs directly on 230 V mains and produces 439 lm, and 51 lm leave the fitting at 4 W. This is orientation light, not area lighting: the louvres hold back most of the output and send the rest downwards, with only 0.29% going up. 3000 K is warm white, and CRI 80 renders paving without noticeable colour shift. The light is phase-dimmable with either a trailing-edge (TE) or a leading-edge (LE) dimmer. The LED module is replaced by a professional service, and Norlys offers a service kit for this fitting. The manufacturer gives an L70 life above 59,000 h – the time after which the output falls to 70% of its initial value. Build and intended use A silicone gasket and an EPDM cable gland seal the fitting to IP65 – dust-tight and protected against water jets – so it can be set into a wall without any canopy. IK10 is the highest impact rating on that scale, which matters at the height of steps and paths. Norlys intends the Namsos Mini for stairs, steps and stairwells, circulation routes and for washing ceilings with light; garden walls, facades and terraces are also on its list of uses.Mostrar mais
