Outdoor Wall Light NORLYS Lofoten 1960BL black E27 IP44

Name: Outdoor Wall Light NORLYS Lofoten 1960BL black E27 IP44
Brand: NORLYS

Lofoten 1960BL is an outdoor wall light shaped as a rectangular box: a slim frame of steel powder-coated black (RAL 9005) holds opal panes of PMMA. The opal diffuser spreads the light evenly, so the bulb does not show as a sharp, bright point. Size and wall mounting The light is 30 cm high and 19 cm wide and projects 11 cm from the wall — compare these figures with the space by your front door, on a terrace wall or in a gazebo. It weighs 2.89 kg and is screwed on through three ø5 mm holes spaced 80 × 105 mm, following the manufacturer's instructions. The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm², and up to 2 × 1.5 mm² when lights are looped through, so several wall lights on one wall can run from one supply line. An EPDM gland seals a round cable 7–10.5 mm in diameter. It is protection class II, so it needs no protective earth. IP44 means protection against splashing water from any direction — on a wall exposed to driving rain, a spot under the eaves or a canopy is the better choice. Which bulb and how much light The fitting has one E27 socket for an A55–A60 LED bulb of up to 11 W. The bulb is not included and is replaced by the user, and brightness and colour depend on the bulb you choose — an LED bulb of about 800 lm gives as much light as an old 60 W incandescent. The manufacturer quotes ULOR 50%: half of the light goes upwards, so the light brightens the wall above and below it, not just the ground. Dimming depends on the bulb — it needs a dimmable LED bulb and a compatible dimmer. Build and use The plain rectangular body with a thin frame is a classic design without ornament, which Norlys intends for lighting terraces, entrances, gazebos and other places around a building. The body is powder-coated steel, a silicone gasket seals the diffuser and an EPDM gland seals the cable. The light operates from −20 to +45 °C.Mostrar mais
