Stavanger 1240GR is a cylindrical bollard light, 95 cm tall and 20 cm in diameter. The body is powder-coated cast aluminium in graphite (RAL 7016), and below the flat cap runs a ring of clear, UV-stabilised polycarbonate through which the light leaves. The LED module and driver are built in, so the bollard needs no bulb.How much light and what kindThe fitting draws 12.2 W and delivers 428 lm from a module rated at 1179 lm — the cap sends the light down onto the ground around the bollard, and only 3.06% of the flux goes upward (BUG B0-U2-G1). That is enough to mark out a path or a driveway, not to light a whole yard. 3000 K is warm white, and Ra 80 is the usual colour rendering for outdoor area lighting.The bollard dims on a trailing-edge (TE) phase dimmer; a leading-edge unit made for incandescent lamps is not suitable. The module keeps 90% of its flux after more than 109,000 h (L90), and the manufacturer rates the driver at 50,000 h. The light source is energy class D.Mounting and wiringThe base is bolted down through three ø9 mm holes set 120° apart on a ø145 mm circle. The bollard weighs 11.03 kg, or 12.69 kg in its 22.5 × 22.5 × 103.5 cm carton. The fixing parts are sold separately: ground anchor 1231GA0009, concreting anchor 1230ZX0009, adapter for a concrete foundation 1232GA0010 or mounting adapter 3087GA0009.The terminals take conductors up to 3 × 4 mm², and up to 3 × 2.5 mm² when looping through, so several bollards along a path can run from one cable. The gland takes a round cable of ø8–17 mm, and the body has holes for a 10 cm length of TH-35 DIN rail. The fitting is protection class I and must be connected to an earth conductor.Durability, service and where it goesIP65 lets the bollard stand in the rain without cover, and IK10 is the highest impact-resistance class — relevant where wheels and bicycles can knock into it. The LED module and driver are replaced only by a professional service, with repair kit ZS1240zx0013.Norlys intends Stavanger for private grounds and public spaces: garden, terrace, driveway, street and the surroundings of hotels and restaurants.
