Stavanger 5065AL is a low bollard light with a cylindrical body: 20 cm across and 28 cm tall. The body is powder-coated cast aluminium in RAL 9006, and just below the flat cap runs a lit ring of clear, UV-stabilised polycarbonate. How big it is and how it is fixed down 28 cm puts the light at the level of paving and low planting — the bollard lights the surface around it rather than the space at eye height. At 20 cm across it takes up a circle of ground about the size of a dinner plate, and it weighs 4.8 kg net. The fitting is fixed through three ø9 mm holes set 120 degrees apart on a ø145 mm circle. Norlys sells the matching accessories separately: a concreting anchor, a ground anchor, an adapter for a concrete foundation, a mounting adapter and a connection box — none of them is included. The terminals take conductors up to 5x2.5 mm2 and allow further fittings to be looped through, and the gland accepts round cable from 8 to 17 mm in diameter. How much light it gives, and where The LED module draws 6.6 W and the whole fitting 8.4 W. The module itself produces 854 lm, but 400 lm leave the housing: the cap above the ring holds the rest back and lets no light go upward, so the output lands on the surface rather than in the eyes of someone walking past. The colour of the light is 3000 K, warm white, and colour rendering is Ra 80. Colour consistency is given as SDCM 3 — at that figure several bollards set along one path light in the same shade of white. Supply, control and resistance The bollard runs on 220-240 V and is protection class I, so it needs an earth conductor. Dimming is over DALI, which means a bus controller rather than an ordinary wall dimmer. The power factor is 0.94. IP65 means full protection against dust and resistance to water jets, and the manufacturer gives an operating range of -20 to +45 degrees Celsius.
