The NORLYS Hellvik 2413AL is an 85 cm garden bollard shaped as an open rectangular frame. The body is cast aluminium, powder-coated in an aluminium colour (RAL 9006). The LED modules sit in the top crossbar of the frame, shielded from above, and shine downwards through a clear, textured polycarbonate diffuser that is UV-stabilised.How big it is and where it can standThe frame is 85 cm high, 42 cm wide and only 11 cm deep. Compare that flat profile with the width of the edging or planting strip the bollard will stand beside. A plain geometric shape with no ornament and one colour over the whole surface makes it a modern design with a Scandinavian restraint; Hellvik suits gardens and terraces and can also mark the edge of a driveway or street.IP65 means a dust-tight housing protected against water jets, so the bollard can stand outdoors without any cover. IK08 stands for impact resistance up to 5 J, and the manufacturer gives an operating temperature range of −20 to +45°C.How much light it gives, and what kindTwo LED modules in the crossbar deliver 3075 lm between them; after the shield and diffuser the luminaire puts out 1803 lm at 20.2 W. That is enough to light the ground around the bollard rather than just mark where it stands. 4000 K is a neutral white with no yellow tint, and Ra 80 renders the colours of planting and paving at the usual level for outdoor lighting. Only 3% of the light goes upward above the luminaire, so the bollard does not light up the sky.The light source is included and is not user-replaceable: the LED modules and driver may only be replaced by a qualified technician. The manufacturer quotes an L80 lifetime of over 102,000 hours — after that the modules still give at least 80% of their initial flux.Control and installationThe 2413AL version has a DALI2 driver, so dimming and lighting scenes need an installation with a DALI bus and a DALI controller. An anchor for setting in concrete is included; the ground anchor (209) and the adapter for a concrete foundation (209S) are sold separately. The terminals take conductors up to 2 × 4 mm², and power can be looped through to the next bollard with conductors up to 2 × 2.5 mm². The luminaire is protection class I and needs an earth conductor; the connection should be made by a qualified electrician.Mostrar mais
