The V-TAC VT-88062 LED wall lamp is a white fixture with an aluminium body and a PC plastic diffuser, designed to be mounted next to a bed – including in hotel rooms. Built into the housing is a charging module with a USB-A and a USB-C port.Size and how it mountsThe lamp is 25 cm tall, 11.5 cm wide and projects 14 cm from the wall. It is hardwired into the electrical installation – the manufacturer's instructions say to switch off the power first, screw the bracket to the wall, and only then connect the 220–240 V wires. The switch sits on the lamp housing itself, so this is not a plug-in lamp.What kind of light it givesThe CREE LED source is integrated and cannot be replaced. Drawing 2 W, it produces a luminous flux of 60 lm at 3000 K – a warm white close to a traditional bulb – over a 162° beam angle. A colour rendering index above 80 gives reasonably accurate colours for reading by. The lamp is not dimmable.USB charging by the bedThe built-in charging module has one USB-A and one USB-C port, so a phone or other device can be charged within arm's reach of the bed without a separate charger.Build and lifespanThe body is aluminium and the diffuser is PC plastic.
