Yin TR084-1-15W3K-W is a track spotlight: a white aluminium cylinder 10 cm across, held in a swivelling yoke, with a track adapter on top. The whole fitting is 13.7 cm tall and weighs 0.46 kg. What the light is like and what to aim it at The built-in LED module draws 15 W and gives 1070 lm at 3000 K, a warm white. The beam is 24° wide, which is narrow: mounted 2 m above the floor it lights a pool roughly 85 cm across. This is a fitting for picking out a single object — a picture, a shelf, a display — not for lighting a whole room. The colour rendering index is Ra 90. Under that light colours read almost as they do in daylight, which matters wherever the shade of a product or a painting has to be right. Which track it fits and how it is aimed The adapter on top is made for a single-phase track of the Unity system. It will not enter a three-phase track or another maker's track, so the rail has to be in place already or bought with the fitting. Once clipped in, the head turns through 350° and tilts through 90°, from pointing straight down to horizontal. The spot the light falls on can therefore be moved without dismantling anything, including after the room is rearranged. Supply, service life and what the fitting does not do The manufacturer states that this version cannot be dimmed: dimming is a separate variant of the series, marked with a D in the code. The fitting runs on 160–265 V and is Class II, so it needs no protective earth conductor. The source is permanently built in — it comes with the fitting, but it is not swapped like a bulb; the manufacturer quotes 50,000 hours of service life and a five-year warranty.
