A 112 cm aluminium profile, ready to fit ALLDAY GO is a linear luminaire supplied as a complete unit, not as a profile you then buy tape and a driver for. The white painted aluminium extrusion measures 1120 mm long, 44 mm wide and 74 mm deep, closed along its whole underside by a milky diffuser. Driver and LED module sit inside — all that remains to connect is the 230 V supply. A narrow, deep section rather than a flat batten The proportions — 44 mm wide against 74 mm deep — are deliberate. A narrow fitting draws less attention on a ceiling, and the extra depth leaves room for a proper heatsink, which is what the diodes' real service life depends on. The manufacturer quotes 17,000 hours and an ambient range of −20 to +40 °C, so the fitting also suits unheated but dry spaces such as a store room or a parking deck. 36 W, neutral 4000 K, 115° beam The built-in LED module draws 36 W at 230 V / 50 Hz and 172 mA, and the manufacturer declares 2160 lm. 4000 K is neutral white — cooler than the 3000 K of a living room, warmer than a cold 6000 K — which is the standard for offices, corridors and retail, where colours should look natural and the light should keep people alert. The diffuser spreads the output across 115°, so a single fitting lights a wide band beneath it without drawing hard edges. Surface mounting on brackets The luminaire is designed for surface mounting: metal brackets sit on top of the profile, screw to the ceiling or wall, and the fitting then clips onto them. That makes it straightforward to set several units in one line at an even spacing. Class I means an earth connection is required, and IP20 restricts the fitting to interiors. No dimming — and that is a design decision The manufacturer states plainly that the fitting does not work with a dimmer. For functional lighting in an office or corridor, dimming is rarely needed anyway, and leaving it out simplifies the installation and lowers the price. If you are planning lighting scenes with brightness control, though, this is not the model for it. The energy efficiency class of the fitted light source is D. Where it works A metre-plus linear fitting in neutral white is the classic of functional interiors: corridors, stairwells, open-plan offices, back-of-house areas, shops, reception desks, plant rooms. Set in a row it forms a continuous line of light along a circulation route; on its own it works well over a worktop or a counter.
