Two beams from one fitting The up/down layout splits the output into two opposing directions: one beam climbs the wall, the other falls. The fitting does not illuminate the space in front of it, so it is no substitute for a floodlight; its job is the drawing on the surface. Adjustable 0–120° aperture The upper and lower apertures let you change the spread anywhere from 0 to 120°. A narrow setting gives two sharp bands of light and strong contrast; a wide one gives softer, more diffuse patches that reach further sideways. The adjustment matters in practice: when several fittings are installed in a row, it decides whether they read as separate accents or merge into a continuous band. Durability and the electrical side IP65 means fully dust-tight and protected against water jets, which allows outdoor mounting as well as damp interiors. The fitting accepts a wide 100–240 V input at 50/60 Hz and is hard-wired with L/N/PE, so an earth connection is required. It is not dimmable; the manufacturer states 15,000 switching cycles, which is worth bearing in mind if it will be driven by a motion sensor. Light quality and efficiency CRI 80 is the standard for exterior lighting — colours stay legible, though reds (R9 = 15) render poorly, as is typical for this class of diode. Colour consistency of 6 SDCM means that with several units side by side, small differences in the shade of white may be visible.
