This is not a lamp — it is a ceiling canopy, the mounting component of the Cameleon system. A round plate 18 cm across and only 2.5 cm deep, it covers the ceiling box and distributes power to the fittings suspended beneath it. It does not light and contains no light source. Up to four fittings from one point One figure matters here: Canopy A Mini serves up to four fittings, each of up to 25 W (LED only). It solves the problem almost every flat has — one cable comes out of the ceiling, while over a table or an island you want to see several suspended shades. Instead of chasing the slab for further outlets, they all clip into a single canopy. How the Cameleon system works Cameleon is Nowodvorski's modular system, in which a lamp is assembled from separately bought parts: the canopy (this product), the cable with lampholder and the shade. Each part has its own catalogue symbol and its own price, and they join without special tools. The practical upshot is that years later you can swap only the shades for another shape or colour while keeping the installation — or add a fourth drop over a lengthened table. Construction The plate is powder-painted steel with plastic components. The black matches swatch P013 / RAL 9005 — the same shade runs through the rest of the system, so canopy, cables and lampholders form a consistent whole with no difference in the tone of black. Protection class II means double insulation: no protective earth conductor is needed. Bear in mind too that the canopy alone is not a lamp: a complete fitting also needs cables with lampholders and shades from the same family. The "LED only" restriction at 25 W is not a formality — a housing this flat has no room to carry heat away from other lamp types.
