VT-42022 is a black bar 61.5 cm long with a 2.6 × 2.4 cm section, made for a 48 V magnetic track system. Magnetic systems from different manufacturers use different profiles and are not interchangeable, so before ordering, check that the fitting and the track you own belong to the same system.A bar, not a spotlightUnlike a typical track spot, this fitting lights a strip more than half a metre long. An 81° beam at 2500 lumens gives broad, even light beneath the bar — a solution for general room lighting or a long worktop, not for picking out a detail. One bar replaces several spots and gives light without the distinct pools and shadows between them.How much light, and of what quality22 W produces 2500 lumens, i.e. 114 lm/W — high efficacy for a system fitting, though the energy class is E. Colour 3000 K, rendering CRI 80. In its EPREL declaration the manufacturer also states R9 = 11, meaning saturated-red rendering is weak. That is typical of CRI 80 diodes and in practice means wood, brick and food look somewhat greyer under this light than under a high-R9 fitting. Irrelevant in an office, a corridor or a plant room; worth a thought over a dining table.What the fitting does not doThe manufacturer states plainly that it is not dimmable. The light source is permanently integrated — no bulb to change, and at the end of its life the whole module is replaced. Standby draw is 0 W and it is rated for over 15,000 on/off cycles.
