A spotlight for three-phase track The Zambelis S058 is a spotlight made exclusively for three-phase busbar track. Its adapter clicks straight into the rail, so the fitting needs no cut-out, no ceiling void and no separate supply cable — power travels through the track. The barrel measures 6 cm across and 13 cm long and is machined from aluminium in a matt white finish. Three circuits on one rail A three-phase track carries three independently switched circuits. Fittings clipped onto the same length of rail can therefore be split into groups and switched separately — one set over the counter, another over a display, without splitting the wiring. It is the arrangement used in shops, galleries and open-plan homes where the lighting layout changes with the room. You aim it by hand The head is adjustable: the barrel tilts and rotates once mounted, so the beam can be pointed at a picture, a shelf or a worktop and re-aimed whenever the room is rearranged. Because the spotlight also slides along the rail, the light point is not fixed to one spot on the ceiling. You choose the lamp The fitting takes a GU10 lamp up to 35 W, and the lamp is not supplied. That is deliberate: colour temperature, output and beam angle are set by the lamp you fit, and swapping it needs no dismantling. The body itself has no dimming circuitry, so whether the light dims depends on the lamp you choose and on the control used on that circuit. Build and warranty Aluminium body, IP20 for dry indoor rooms, safety class I meaning it connects to a protective earth. Supply 220–240 V at 50/60 Hz. The manufacturer gives a five-year warranty.
