The HI98129 is a waterproof tester that measures pH, conductivity/TDS, and temperature with high accuracy. The universality of this device eliminates the need to switch between multiple measuring devices. The waterproof and floatable device features an easy-to-read LCD and an automatic shut-off function. pH and conductivity readings are automatically temperature compensated. The HI98129 features a replaceable pH electrode with a retractable textile diaphragm. If the diaphragm becomes so dirty through use that the tester measures slowly or results in significant drift, the diaphragm can be pulled out a bit (approx. 2-3 mm) to expose a fresh piece. This effectively extends the life of the electrode, and even if the entire textile strip is used up, the tester does not need to be thrown away; simply replace the electrode with a new one using the included tool.
