The density of the tape is the number of LEDs on the tape. On high-density tapes there is no phenomenon of beads, i.e. visible points of light. The higher the density of the LED strip, the more uniform the light is. Tapes with a density of 60 LEDs per meter allow for a uniform line of light. To ensure that the light points are not visible, it is recommended to use an LED profile along with a suitable lampshade. LED strips 24V - lower voltage drops Longer light installations do not have to be associated with voltage drops. Choosing 24V LED strips means you can use longer lengths of LED tape. This is due to the lower power consumption, compared to a 12V installation. It also allows the use of smaller cross-sections of wires needed for installation, making them easier to hide. Requires installation of a power supply Each LED strip needs a properly selected power supply to work. When choosing a power supply, you should be guided by the voltage (a power supply with an output voltage of 24V for 24V LED strips), the power of the strip and the place where the power supply will ultimately be placed. The power of the power supply depends on the power of the tape taking into account its length. The power of the LED strip given for one meter should be multiplied times its length. It is recommended to add 10% power supply backup. Depending on the mounting location, there are furniture, hermetic, slim power supplies.
