Sigma Artis 6 40531: six lights in a spatial compositionArtis 6 expands the collection’s distinctive construction into a wide pendant with six shades. Slender arms branch from a central vertical stem in several directions and at different levels. The fitting is not confined to one flat line: its rhythm and outline change as it is viewed from around the room. Black painted steel gives the structure a crisp graphic presence, while the white interiors of the shallow shades stand out clearly against their dark outer surfaces. The pendant occupies a square footprint measuring 90 cm wide by 90 cm deep. Six light points distributed around the centre can cover a large dining table, kitchen island or central living area, particularly where the fitting remains visible from more than one direction. Each shade is open underneath, so the light is directed chiefly onto the surface below. Maximum height is 70 cm. The suspension can be adjusted during installation to suit the ceiling, furniture and required line of sight.Six replaceable E14 bulbsVariant SL/40531 uses six E14 lampholders and bulbs are not supplied. Colour temperature, brightness and bulb shape can therefore be selected for the intended setting. A matching set of six sources will keep the colour and intensity consistent across the whole arrangement. Sigma specifies a maximum of 40 W for each individual source. Every painted-steel shade is 18 cm wide and 8 cm high. Its white interior outlines the light opening, while the black exterior continues the finish of the arms and ceiling canopy.Dimensions and specification90 cm overall width, 90 cm depth and 70 cm maximum height, six painted-steel shades, each 18 cm wide and 8 cm high, black structure with black outer and white inner shade surfaces,6 × E14, maximum 40 W per source; bulbs are not included, adjustable suspension, ceiling-bracket mounting and 3.5 kg weight, made in Poland, IP20 rating and a 2-year warranty.Electrical connection should be completed by a suitably qualified person.
