The choice of power supply depends on the parameters of the tape. The first is the tension. It is important that the output voltage of the power supply is the same as the voltage of the LED strip. The power supply must be properly selected due to the power of the tape. The power referred to 1 meter should be multiplied times the length of the tape in meters. Professional tapes, unlike Standard tapes, are characterized by a higher luminous flux, so that despite the use of the same power of LED tape, the light output of a professional tape can be up to half that of a Standard tape. An additional advantage of using a professional tape is that the life of the tape is more than twice as long. Another advantageous feature of professional tapes is their repeatability. The selection of LEDs is at a much higher level, so we can get a uniform color along the entire length of the tape (+- 10%).
