What it is for Set 20190-S is two metal side end caps for the Zambelis 20190 aluminium profile. They push onto both ends of the profile, and the flat tab that projects past the outline, drilled with holes, doubles as the mounting bracket. The profile is therefore fixed from its ends rather than by drilling through the channel itself — which has two practical consequences: the bed where the LED strip sits is left intact, and no screw is visible along the exposed length of the fitting. Two holes, two jobs Each cap carries a slotted hole at the top and a round one at the bottom. The slot gives a few millimetres of play, so two profiles run in line can be pushed up to each other without perfectly marked-out fixing points. The round hole acts as the datum. On a finished wall, where corrections are no longer possible, that saves a good deal of grief. How it differs from set 20190-H Zambelis offers two mounting sets for the same profile and they are easy to confuse. 20190-S (this one) is the side, surface-mounted fixing — the profile sits against the wall or ceiling. 20190-H is two metal suspension brackets, for when the profile is to hang clear of the soffit. The choice turns purely on whether the fitting should lie on the surface or hang from it. Worth knowing before ordering This is an accessory, not a luminaire — it contains no profile, no LED strip, no diffuser and no driver. The 20190 profile is sold separately in 2 m lengths and already includes 2 m of opal cover plus two plain end caps; set 20190-S replaces those plain caps with the bracketed version. Screws and wall plugs are chosen to suit the substrate and are not supplied.
