Sigma Diament L 31367 – a black faceted dome with a gold interiorDiament L 31367 uses contrast rather than ornament to create its distinctive presence. The outside of the broad shade is black and broken into irregular triangular planes, giving the dome the appearance of a cut geometric solid. Its wide lower opening reveals a subtly textured gold-toned interior, so the warmer colour forms a clear border around the chosen bulb while the silhouette remains dark. A slim black cord and round black ceiling canopy continue the exterior finish. At 50 cm across, this is a substantial single pendant suited to defining a dining table or becoming the central fitting in a seating area.Scale, materials and installationThe shade is made from mineral composite, while the structural components are lacquered steel. It measures 30.5 cm high and 50 cm wide; the complete fitting has a maximum overall drop of 100 cm. The suspension can be adjusted during installation to position the lower edge for the ceiling height and furniture below. Its round canopy is 10 cm in diameter and projects 2.5 cm from the ceiling. The pendant weighs 1.4 kg. The installation drawing shows a bracket fixed at two ceiling points, followed by side screws that secure the canopy housing to that bracket.Choosing the E27 light sourceOne E27 socket is fitted and the bulb is not included. This leaves colour temperature, output and any dimming capability to be selected through a compatible bulb and control. A conventional bulb may draw up to 60 W; the LED ceiling is 15 W. Because the shade is fully open underneath, the bulb remains visible and light is directed chiefly towards the surface below.
