These have been revised as follows: - Opening and removing the defective damper - Precise shortening of the shock absorber - Inserting and welding the threaded sleeve - Galvanizing and powdering As a result, the Bilstein B6 shock absorbers can be used and screwed together using a union nut. The set also includes the matching cartridge key. The dampers are characterized by improved coordination and high-quality workmanship. Thanks to the screw connection, subsequent renovations or a switch to sporty dampers like in the 968 are also easily possible. Please note the different suspension strut variants that were used throughout the 944 series. This is the Fichtel and Sachs version with a large spring plate and mount for an air baffle, which was used in the 944 Turbo from '87-'88.
