Instrument Cluster Gear for PORSCHE 924 944 -'85 Speedometer Repair M11 Var. 1 Description: If the odometer on your transaxle is no longer running, this gear is usually broken. The repair is not complicated and preserves your speedometer in its original condition. Variants: !US models have the M17 installed. Simply search for "M17" in the shop! Many 924 models also have the M14 and some the M15 installed; we also have these available in the shop. If in doubt, send us an email with your vehicle details. Note: We also recommend replacing the roller gear (on the same shaft). It is the second most common weak point in the drive. If the roller gear can be turned on the shaft, it is already damaged. Here you'll find 3 different thicknesses (tooth width D1.3; D2.2; D3.0). Measure the tooth width of the gear and order the correct one from our shop if needed. Quality: Our gears are meticulously manufactured using injection molding, true to the original design, and are not 3D-printed in-house creations. The so-called involute tooth geometry is retained; this is the only way to ensure low-friction sliding of the tooth flanks between the gear pairs. We use the thermoplastic material Celron with graphite additives. These ensure low friction and wear-free operation. If you disassemble the speedometer beforehand, please note that the speedometer needle shaft is very delicate. Grip the speedometer needle in the middle and turn it counterclockwise, pulling gently.
