Trysil 1104 is an 85 cm bollard light built from extruded aluminium profile, powder coated in graphite RAL 7016. The light leaves through a hermetic clear PMMA lens set into the upper part of the post. The base covers 34 x 11 cm and the fitting weighs 4.2 kg. Mounting and connection The bollard is fixed through four 8 mm holes on an 18 x 50 mm pattern. The concreting anchor is a separate article — nothing to set in concrete comes in the box, so the foundation has to be planned alongside the purchase. The terminals take conductors up to 3 x 2.5 mm² and loop-through wiring up to 3 x 1.5 mm²: several bollards can be chained on one supply run rather than each needing its own spur. The gland accepts round cable up to 12.5 mm in diameter. The fitting is protection class I, so an earthed conductor is required. The light it gives The fitting draws 7.5 W and delivers 738 lm — roughly what the old 60 W bulb gave, but distributed quite differently. The Ledil SCL lens produces an asymmetric distribution in IESNA type II/III: the light runs along the route rather than into an even circle around the post, which is why these are set in a line beside a path or a driveway. 3000 K is warm white and the colour rendering index is 80. The BUG rating B1-U1-G1 describes low side and upward components, meaning little light spilling beyond the route being lit. The fitting can be dimmed, but only with a trailing-edge phase dimmer. Durability and service IP65 means complete dust protection and resistance to water jets, and IK08 resistance to a 5 joule impact — which matters on a fitting standing at lawnmower height. Sealing is by a silicone gasket, and the optical module with its lens carries its own IP67. The manufacturer quotes 109,000 hours of service life, an operating range of -20 to +45 degrees Celsius, a five-year guarantee and a twenty-five-year anti-corrosion guarantee on the coating.
