They are gamma-irradiated and triple bagged, making them ideal for active air monitoring with our MAS Air Samplers for passive microbial air sampling in isolators and clean rooms. Furthermore, they are suitable for personnel monitoring to detect microbial contamination e.g. in a 5-finger-print. Our settle plates contain either Tryptic Soy Agar (TSA), Sabouraud Dextrose Agar (SDA) or a non-animal, vegetable peptone media for minimal risk of BSE/TSE contamination, all prepared in accordance with the recommendations of the European and US pharmacopeias.
