The Teak Root Cake Dish - L

Name: The Teak Root Cake Dish - L
Brand: BAZAR BIZAR

The Teak Root Cake Dish L by BAZAR BIZAR is a wooden cake stand with a circular serving surface, a shallow rim and a single tapered pedestal. Its natural teak colour and visible grain give it a different appearance from plain ceramic tableware. This is a serving dish, not a baking tin.A raised surface for servingArticle BASU400-L measures 28 cm long, 28 cm wide and 13 cm high. The pedestal raises dry baked goods above the table rather than presenting them on a flat plate. Compare the width of what you intend to serve with the stand's dimensions: the surrounding rim takes up part of the surface.Use it for presenting dry food in a kitchen or dining room, or when serving dessert in a living room. The manufacturer's specification limits food contact to dry food only. Photographs showing other tableware or decorative objects do not identify additional items supplied with this stand.Hand-carved teak with individual grainThe dish is made by hand from teak wood in Indonesia. Grain patterns, colour and small finishing differences vary between pieces. The uncomplicated pedestal and pronounced wood grain suit rustic or boho table settings without adding a printed pattern. The photograph illustrates the character of the material rather than an identical grain pattern guaranteed for every individual stand.Hand washing and wood careWash with mild soap, warm water and a soft cloth or sponge, then dry thoroughly straight away. Do not soak the wood or use abrasive tools or harsh cleaning products. The manufacturer recommends regular treatment with food-safe wood oil to help prevent drying and cracking. Keep the stand out of the dishwasher, microwave and oven: it is intended for serving, not heating food.Show more
