The Keter Lighting PAKO 1202 is a two-light ceiling spotlight on a rectangular bar 28 cm long. Two metal shades shaped like upturned cups sit on short black joints, so each can be aimed independently. This version is white — black appears only on the arms and fixings, giving a distinct graphic contrast. Two directions of light from one point The point of a fitting like this is that a single ceiling outlet serves two independently aimed beams. In a hallway one shade can light the mirror and the other the coat rack; in a kitchen, the worktop and the doorway; in a living room, a picture and the reading chair. The shades are metal and opaque, so light goes downward in a defined cone with no sideways spill. This is an accent solution: PAKO 1202 lights chosen places rather than a whole room. Dimensions and proportion The bar measures 28 cm long and 10 cm wide, and the whole fitting stands 18 cm high including the shades. That is a compact size — the spotlight does not dominate a ceiling and fits over a narrow corridor or a modest worktop. With two heads on 28 cm the shades sit close together, so the spacing of the light pools depends mainly on the angle you set rather than on the distance between them. Lamps The fitting has two E14 sockets and takes lamps of up to 40 W each. E14 is a smaller cap than the common E27 — worth checking before buying bulbs, because the difference cannot be made up with an adapter inside so tight a shade. Since the shade is metal and opaque, the appearance of the lamp itself does not matter; what counts is its overall length, which must fit inside the shade, and its colour temperature. For a living room or hallway 2700–3000 K works well; over a kitchen worktop, 4000 K. Construction Both bar and shades are metal; there is no plastic and no glass. An IP20 rating restricts the fitting to dry interiors. The manufacturer names living room, bedroom, hallway, kitchen and hospitality premises as intended locations — that last one says something about the build: the fitting is meant to stand up to heavier, commercial use as well. The PAKO range and other finishes PAKO is a whole family of fittings. Besides the two-light version the manufacturer offers PAKO 1200 and PAKO 1203 in the same idiom, differing in the number of light points. The body itself comes in three finishes — silver, white and black — and this particular article (symbol 1202) is the white one.
